I didn’t ever use it much but in the last few weeks I got quite annoyed by Facebook so I decided to opt out and deleted my account. A very easy guide on how to accomplish this task can be found at wikihow.com as Facebook normally only allows you to deactivate your account:
After all this plastic fake stuff in Vegas it’s nice to come to Britain, especially here to Winchester where you are surrounded by all this genuine authentic buildings and things. I love it! OK, I have to admit the round table is in fact a fake from the 14th century, BUT this fake is older than the discovery of America and this makes it authentic again, somehow. At least for people from the US it should be very genuine then…
I think authenticity is something we should strive for, not only for buildings and stuff we do, even for how we act and how we are. More wood – less plastic.

After several years as a true friend our beloved “red lightning” (I would call it the red snail… (but don’t tell my girlfriend)) has ben sold today.
Here is one of the last shots of it:
Our local brook, the ”Mölndalså” has increased its water level the latest time almost every day due to massive rain. Today it could not take up the massive rainfalls and it flooded over! This is happening quite near where I live, about 500 meters away but until now it seems that the water will not raise that much that it would reach us. As long as I know, nobody was injured until now, only material damage has occured by the water masses.

I did… or I should say I tried to. 
In the late summer we were at our local meat-cuisine, the “Texas Longhorn” steak restaurant. It’s originally from Stockholm but this year they finally opened their first restaurant in Gothenburg at the Linné-Square nearby Slottskogen. After some visits there with normal meat consumption (~500g steaks) I thought it’s time to test the “Sitting Bull” which is a 1kg strip loin steak. I skipped the fries as usual but I can tell you don’t eat nachos before that monster. Unfortunately I had to quit the steak with about 250g left over.
This year I felt now it’s the time to buy a bike. I found a quite nice one at a small bicycle store on the islands north of Gothenburg. Just a simple MTB/Trekking hybrid so it’s nothing special but good enough for a tour to the local pub or so. I bought in in June and used it twice – guess where to?!

Just recognized that my blog has not been updated for a while now so that it was just showing a blank page. 
Right now many things happen around, so I it’s not because of that nothing happens - it’s the opposite, it happens too much so I just don’t manage to write about all the things. I promise to catch up next week and write some more intresting stuff about all the things that happened. 
So jetzt hab ich auch einen blog. Bäh!
