Tomorrow we head off to Munich from where we will go down to Greece, Santorini. After one week of intensive brain-feeding at the IBM conference in Atlanta this holiday will just fit perfectly. I wish you all a nice “midsummer celebrating” if you are visiting my blog from Sweden.

Can’t sit indoors while the sun is shining out there. Today it was time for a picnic on top of a hill named Liagärdesberget which gives you a perfect view over the lake “Stora Hålsjön”. Just another way to celebrate Swedens national day, as a bavarian.
Nice view, eh?

The weather was cloudy in Gothenburg and “somebody” assumed it may be better in Oslo!? So we gave it a try and went on a short trip to Oslo, Norway yesterday, somebody was right and we had between 18-20 degrees and sunshine! We started our 4 hour short-sightseeing at Holmenkollen and Frogneseteren which gave us a perfect view over Oslo.
Then we went down the hill again and drove to Bygdøy where we took a look at the “Vikingskipet” – a real vikingship or to get it right it’s actual 3 of them.
After that we took a walk on “Karl Johans Gate” up to the royal palace. Simply – a perfect day!

Last weekend our company celebrated its 5 year anniversary in Nice. A charming place indeed, maybe they should open a bureau there as well? When you are used to the cold/cloudy/rainy/whatsoever uncomfortable weather in Sweden in spring you really get what you are looking for down there in southern France these days. Our company just keeps growing and every time all people meet together there are some new faces formerly just known by phone or e-mail. Despite the fair weather it was quite a tough weekend anyway - thinking about all the beer, wine and spirits which had to be consumed. The picture below is taken by my colleague Magnus, just stole it, hope that’s ok.
