…towards the biking season 2009!

Went up to Bike in Trollhättan today for some shopping and came home with a new helmet and some gloves. As I wanted to buy a “system-helmet” for the comfort of opening the whole front I went through some reviews online and decided to go for a Shoei Multitec it’s very comfortable and got some really good results in most of the tests I read. The other hunting-trophy from todays visit are some BMW Motorrad ProSummer Gloves with Gore-Tex and waterproof.

What’s missing for the spring kick-off is now: a jacket, some trousers, boots and a back-protector, they had some really nice Dainese boots there today but unfortunately not in size 46 so I have to wait.
Oh yes there’s one more thing missing, the most important – a bike!

I’m still unsure about what bike it will be but right now it seems that I’ll go for a boxer, maybe an R1150R. As I haven’t been riding motorcycles for about 11 years I thought it would be best to start with something reliable and with good safety features such as ABS and stuff.
