I did… or I should say I tried to.
In the late summer we were at our local meat-cuisine, the “Texas Longhorn” steak restaurant. It’s originally from Stockholm but this year they finally opened their first restaurant in Gothenburg at the Linné-Square nearby Slottskogen. After some visits there with normal meat consumption (~500g steaks) I thought it’s time to test the “Sitting Bull” which is a 1kg strip loin steak. I skipped the fries as usual but I can tell you don’t eat nachos before that monster. Unfortunately I had to quit the steak with about 250g left over.
Nice! That looks hefty.
But yes, I have eaten 1kg of meat. Twice. You’re not moving very fast after such a meal, I can tell you. First time by accident, second time by choise. Never at Texas Longhorn though..
Hey, talking about huge amount of meat I remeber vividly the food frenzy at the meat restaurant we had with Zystems in Copenhagen. Those ribs where good.
omfg, that’s a real piece of meat
